Clinical Opportunities
Behavioral Health Technician and Registered Behavioral Technician

Role: BHTs and RBTs are responsible for implementing programs and supporting the clients, parent, legal guardian and their significant person(s) under the supervision of a Behavior Analyst or Assistant Behavior Analyst.
Primary Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 services to individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, ADHD and other diagnoses in home, school and community setting

Implement ABA treatment plan and procedures under the supervision of a BCBA

Collect electronic data as directed by the BCBA

Transfer skills to parents, teachers, caregivers, and other significant people

Complete all mandatory training and adhere to appropriate regulations required for future development

Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Behavior Specialist
Role: Behavior Analysts are responsible for the creation, analysis, and evaluation of programs. Behavior Analysts provide services in accordance with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and Skill Assessments

Create treatment plans, which include behavior management and skill acquisition programs

Implement, monitor, analyze, and evaluate treatment plans
-
Manage and collect electronic data collection systems.

Collaborate with other professionals as necessary
-
Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians and Behavior Health Technicians according to the BACB and IBHS
-
Train significant persons on ABA strategies crisis intervention
-
Collect IOA and treatment fidelity data
-
Create supplemental material
-
Report writing for initial and re-authorization for services

Internship
Internship: Pillar ABA offers unique opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to gain hands-on clinical experience. Our internship program is designed for individuals interested in pursuing a career in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis and who are seeking a direct learning experience in a therapeutic setting. As an intern, you will become engaged in all aspects of our program, including therapy services, supervision, and overall knowledge of ABA. This is a multidisciplinary experience providing the ability to observe and assist in all areas of Pillar ABA’s mission.

Pillar ABA also offers administrative internship positions for students desiring to gain experience with case and service coordination. Administrative internships allow students to gain first-hand experience and understanding of service provision in the mental health field.
Fellowship
Fellowship: The fellowship program at Pillar ABA is a framework of guidance and support aimed at enhancing your career path toward becoming a BCBA. Our goal is to empower, motivate, support and prepare our mentees for their next career advancement. The fellowship program is set up for students to excel at work, in their studies as they attend graduate programs to study Applied Behavior Analysis.

Eligibility:

Active RBT credential
